Design and create at two different but related labels for a beverage.
Solution
A local brewery called 3rd Sign was chosen to design for, which was born from the idea that everything in life exists on a spectrum and that interesting dualities emerge from many different facets. Applying this concept to beer styles, they release two new beers at a time, together as a pair, both from the same style—sometimes releasing limited-edition brews. In keeping with this pattern, I chose to design another limited-edition duality, this time for spring, based on the Greek Goddess Persephone, showcasing her duality as both the Goddess of Spring and of the Underworld—life and death. Collaged illustrations with bright, modern colors were used to combine the old mythology with the updated application.
