Develop a fictional magazine concept, designing a logo, cover, table of contents, and two 2-page spreads.
To turn the average cooking magazine on its head, a concept was developed to break out of the usual “homemaker” or “housewife” target audience and, instead, design a magazine aimed at ambitious, career-driven food-lovers with both recipes and articles aimed at reaching your goals, managing stress, and getting what you want in life. With that in mind, “Hungry” was developed for those who are always craving more in life. With a logo that plays off of negative space, the design is minimal, modern, and to-the-point, but still retaining a sense of naturalism and lightheartedness that comes from good food and good vibes.
