Solution
After brainstorming a few different theme ideas, the subject of crafts, activities, and hobbies was decided on and a set of icons was developed with the intent of categorizing blog posts on hobby exploration and DIY projects. Using a multiple line-weight style with spot colors, a cohesive group of icons was formed and integrated into a simple mobile design for browsing hobby blog posts.
